She is notable for playing a damsel in distress, famously through Captain Barbell (her debut) and in Stairway to Heaven. She is the niece of Assistant Vice President of GMA Network, Ida Ramos Henares. Rhian Ramos made an abrupt transition to acting when she was noticed by film producer Alden Filomeno through her McDonald's McJelly Duoadvert. She was cast as the female lead of the popular telefantasya Captain Barbell, opposite Richard Gutierrez in 2006, and again in Lupin the following year. She has played the lead role in My Only Love opposite Mark Herras.
