Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Rhodplumsite is a rare rhodium-lead sulfide mineral, chemical formula Rh3Pb2S2. A sulfide mineral is a mineral containing sulfide (S2-) as the major anion. Sulfides are economically important as metal ores. The sulfide class also includes the selenides, the tellurides, the arsenides, the antimonides, the bismuthinides, the sulfarsenides and the sulfosalts. A sulfide (sulphide in British English) is an anion of sulfur in its lowest oxidation number of –2. Sulfide is also a slightly archaic term for thioethers, a common type of organosulfur compound that are well known for their bad odors.
