Rhonda Byrne (born March 12, 1951) is an Australian television writer and producer, best known for her New Thought works, The Secret—a book and a film by the same name. According to an article published by Australia's Herald Sun, Byrne has also worked on the Australian TV series World's Greatest Commercials and Marry Me. On August 17th, 2010, "The Power", which is a sequel to "The Secret," will be published as both a hardcover edition and audio CD. Byrne was inspired to write The Power after answering several thousand letters from readers of The Secret.
