The Roar of the Dragon Tour lasted from 1999-2000, and included a New Year/Millennium show in Osaka on December 31, 1999, parts of which were recorded and later broadcast on ABC television as part of special programming about Millennium celebrations across the world. Despite being only six dates, the tour had its own unique theme, incorporating dragons and other important elements of East Asian culture. Before the concert started and in between songs, a dragon would roar on the projection screen. There was also a coinciding stage setup as well.
