High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rob Barrett is the rhythm guitarist for the death metal band Cannibal Corpse and currently resides in Tampa, FL. He joined in 1993 and left in 1997, but rejoined in 2005. He features on the albums The Bleeding, Vile, Kill, and Evisceration Plague. He is responsible for helping create several Cannibal Corpse songs, including "Absolute Hatred", "Devoured by Vermin", "She Was Asking for It" and "Stripped, Raped and Strangled". In 1992, he played lead guitar on the landmark death metal album Retribution by Malevolent Creation. Later that year he joined Cannibal Corpse shortly after they had recorded Tomb of the Mutilated and stayed for the subsequent tours and played with the band through 1996's Monolith of Death tour.
