He also hosted 99 Things to Do Before You Die on Channel 5. In 2007, Deering appeared on a special edition of The Weakest Link, winning the show and answering all his questions correctly. Deering has appeared as a guest on shows including Banter, 4 at the Fringe on BBC Radio 4 and Jammin on BBC Radio 2. Deering grew up in London and Oxfordshire and lives in London with his wife Julia and their children.
