High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Roberta Myers is the editor-in-chief of the US edition of the fashion magazine Elle, having taken over the job from Elaina Richardson in 2000. Prior to Elle, Myers had worked for various magazines in the fashion industry, beginning her career as an editorial assistant at Rolling Stone shortly after moving to New York City in 1982. After leaving Rolling Stone, she worked for Interview under Andy Warhol, became the editor of "Careers" at age 25, and then moved on to Seventeen and InStyle. But it was her job as editor of the magazine Tell, a joint venture between Hachette Filipacchi and NBC, that would land her her first job at Elle. Her talent was noticed by Jean-Louis Ginibre, then vice-president and editorial director of Hachette Filipacchi, the parent company of both Tell and Elle. Ginibre made Myers the senior articles editor for Elle in 1995.
