High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Martin Andrew Robinson (born October 28, 1965 in Athy), better known as Robbie Robinson, is an Irish rock/pop musician. Robinson, a drummer, has served as the beat behind many of Ireland's finest bands. Robinson remains more influential than famous. Born and educated in Athy, Co. Kildare in October 1965. Robinson's career started with local Kildare band Banshee before joining heavy metal legends Bad Habitz which later developed into No Sweat. He then became an integral part of The IRS (Intoxicating Rhythm Section) fronted by the amazing Steven Mangan. Following a whirlwind record deal with Rhythm King Records the pressure proved to much and the band disintegrated following a European tour supporting Blur (now with out the aforementioned Mangan). In 2007 He joined White Flag Films to write the movie Seer starring Tara O Neill.
