High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Robert Ba?a (born 19 September 1949 in Zagreb, Croatia) is a sculptor and painter. Graduated from the Academy in Zagreb in 1974. He was an assistant at the Antun Augustin?i? masterworks. He worked in sculpture and abstract ceramics with associative nuances and accented dimensions. (Wood, 1971; Forest 1975). He also works with coloured porcelain objects. He's exhibited his works in Zagreb, Samobor, Sesvete, Sisak, Zurich and Lichtenstein. Antun Augustin?i? (4 May 1900–10 May 1979) was a prominent Croatian sculptor. Along with Ivan Mestrovi? and Frano Krsini? he is considered one of the three most important Croatian sculptors of the 20th century. His most notable sculptures include the Peace monument which stands in front of the United Nations building in New York City and the Miner statue in front of the International Labour Organization headquarters in Geneva.
