Prior to training as an actor at The Arts Educational Trust in London he was a surveyor. He is best known for playing 'Fagin' in the Welsh situation comedy High Hopes. His theatre work includes repertory seasons at; Haymarket Theatre (Leicester), Sherman Theatre (Cardiff), Liverpool Playhouse (Liverpool), Worthing Connaught (Worthing) and the Swansea Grand Theatre (Swansea). He has also toured the Far East, Middle East, India and Europe with various productions.
