He is an Associate Broker and Senior Vice President at Massey Knakal Realty in New York City . He is the author of the book "7 Days to Your Next Job". Burton was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1946. He moved to Carmel, California in 1959 with his mother and younger sister. He studied to be a Roman Catholic priest for his first 3 years of high school at Ryan Preparatory College in Fresno, California and graduated from Junipero Memorial High School in Monterey, California. Burton won a full California State scholarship to the University of Santa Clara. He graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. A member of the National Honor Society, Burton served in the Air National Guard and received the American Spirit Honor Medal.
