He studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he was organ scholar from 1990 - 1993. He moved to New Zealand in 1993, holding organist posts at St Paul`s Cathedral, Wellington and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Auckland, before returning to the United Kingdom as Assistant Director of Music at Blackburn Cathedral. He is presently Director of Music at Ardingly College, West Sussex, having previously held teaching posts at Worksop College and Bedford School. He has performed extensively in Europe, Australasia and North America.
