He is probably most noted for his portrayal of Troy Cotton in Secret Smile and as Jack Maitland in the third series of ITV's Primeval. His first television appearance came as Mungo in British costume drama Micawber, soon after which he got the role of Lee Dwyer in The Bill, appearing in twelve episodes of the UK police drama. He has also appeared in three films, most notably in Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution.
