Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Robert Allen Hale, also known as Papa Pilgrim (1941 - May 26, 2008) was a religious zealot who mentally, physically, and sexually tortured his wife and 15 children in the Alaskan wilderness. Prior to living in Alaska, Hale had been involved in two notable incidents with the law, both incredibly linked to President John F. Kennedy. In 1958, when he was 17, he eloped with 16-year-old Kathleen Connally, who was the daughter of the future Texas Governor, John Connally. Connally was in the seat in front of President John F. Kennedy when he was shot and killed in their open-air limousine in Dallas on November 23, 1963. Kathleen was already pregnant and they eloped to Oklahoma.
