High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Robert Lesnik is a car designer, born 1971 in Limbus, a village near Maribor Slovenia. After three failed attempts to enter the Academy of Fine Art and Design Ljubljana he registered at the University of Pforzheim, and while there he took an exam to work with Volkswagen — and received employment. Since April 2007, he has worked with Kia Motors. He won the "Designer of the year, 2006" award, a Slovenian award for industrial design. Pforzheim is a town of nearly 119,000 inhabitants in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, southwest Germany at the gate to the Black Forest. It is world-famous for its jewelry and watch-making industry. Because of that it gained the nickname "Goldstadt" or Golden City.
