High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Robert Locke is a former editor for FrontPage Magazine. A conservative American nationalist, he is critical of liberals, libertarians, and some "compassionate conservatives", including George W. Bush. He is an admirer of conservative scholar Leo Strauss (although, as a self-proclaimed agnostic, he is critical of Strauss' atheism), architect Robert A.M. Stern, and photorealist painter Richard Estes. Many of his writings are archived at FrontPage Magazine. Locke has attended both Columbia University and University of Chicago; he maintains membership in a conservative alumni organization of the former. He currently resides in New York City, New York. In the January 21st, 2003, issue of Manhattan weekly NY Press, FrontPage Magazine editor David Horowitz publicly disassociated himself from Locke, stating that certain published e-mails written by Locke as a representative of his publication held views that "do not reflect mine in any way, shape or fashion."
