High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Robert M. Bernstein, M.D., F.A.A.D., is Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. Dr. Bernstein is recognized for his pioneering work in Follicular Unit Transplantation and Follicular Unit Extraction. Dr. Bernstein received his Dermatologic training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He graduated with honors from Tulane University achieving the status of Tulane Scholar and received the degree of Doctor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ where he was the recipient of the Dr. Bleiberg Award for "Excellence in Dermatology." Dr. Bernstein was introduced to the nuances of surgical hair restoration by his mentor, Dr. William R. Rassman. Dr. Bernstein is Board Certified in Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
