High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Robert Millar (born February 2, 1950) was the drummer of the first line-up of Supertramp. He and Richard Palmer-James only appeared on the band's self-titled debut album. Prior to joining Supertramp, he was a stage actor. Millar left the band after suffering a nervous breakdown. Richard Jeffrey Charles Palmer-James (born 11 June 1947, in Bournemouth, England) was lyricist for the progressive rock group King Crimson in the early 1970s. The unusual role as a non-music playing member was not without precedent: Palmer replaced Peter Sinfield who had also written King Crimson lyrics. Prior to joining King Crimson, he had played in various Bournemouth bands: The Corvettes, The Palmer-James Group, formed with Alec James, Tedrad and Ginger Man, all of which also included John Wetton on bass and vocals.
