High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. Lingayen-Dagupan is the Archdiocese in the Province of Pangasinan, on the island of Luzon. It's cathedral is St. John the Evangelist and it's co-cathedral is Epiphany of the Lord Parish in Lingayen. The Diocese of Lingayen was erected on May 19, 1928, for the whole province of Pangasinan. During the World War II, the Metropolitan See was transferred in Dagupan; consequently, adopting the name Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.
