The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Morelia (erected 11 August 1536 as the Diocese of Michoacan) is a Metropolitan Archdiocese, responsible for the dioceses of Apatzingan, Ciudad Lazaro Cardenas, Tacambaro and Zamora.
