The Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Falls (erected 29 February 1856, as the Diocese of Harbour Grace) is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Saint John's, Newfoundland. It was renamed as the Diocese of Harbour Grace-Grand Falls on 22 February 1958 then as the Diocese of Grand Falls on 30 Oct 1964. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. John's (Latin: Archidioecesis Sancti Ioannis Terrae Novae) is an archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The archdiocese includes part of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and includes the suffragan dioceses of Grand Falls, and the Corner Brook and Labrador. Its Archbishop is Martin William Currie.
