The Roman Catholic Diocese of Hsinchu (Lat: Dioecesis Hvalienensis) is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in Taiwan. Erected as the Diocese of Hsinchu in 1962, the diocese is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Taipei. The current bishop is John Baptist Lee Keh-mien, appointed in November 2006. An archdiocese is presided over by an archbishop whose see may have or had importance due to size or historical significance.
