The Roman Catholic Diocese of Trincomalee-Batticaloa (Lat: Dioecesis Trincomaliensis-Batticaloaensis) is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in Sri Lanka. Erected as the Diocese of Trincomalee in 1893, the name was changed to the Diocese of Trincomalee-Batticaloa in 1967. In 1975, the Apostolic Prefecture of Anuradhapura was erected from territory of the Diocese of Trincomalee and the Diocese of Jaffna. The diocese is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Colombo. The current bishop is Joseph Kingsley Swampillai, appointed in 1983.
