High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rudy Robles was a Filipino actor and one of the first Filipino actors to appear in Hollywood movies. His credits include pre- and post-World War II films, as Lt. Yabo in The Real Glory (starring Gary Cooper and David Niven) and he played a Filipino Assassin in the 1942 film Across the Pacific. One of his last appearances was playing a T.V. character called Horace in an Alfred Hitchcock Presents T.V. episode. Among his uncredited roles were in the films Singapore ( starring Ava Gardner and Fred McMurray),Adventures of Martin Eden (Glenn Ford), and Okinawa (Pat O'Brien and Richard Denning). Robles started his schooling in the Philippines. Then emigrated to the United States, finishing high school and college in California, where he excelled in debating and acting.
