High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rugeley Trent Valley (IATA: XRG) is a railway station on the outskirts of Rugeley in Staffordshire, England. It is one of two stations in Rugeley, the other being Rugeley Town. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by London Midland. It is a minor station on the Trent Valley section of Britain's busiest railway line, the West Coast Main Line. It is also the junction with the Chase Line from Birmingham and Walsall. The station was the location of The Queen's naming of Class 67 locomotive No. 67029 Royal Diamond, marking her diamond wedding anniversary with Prince Phillip, on the 12th October 2007. London Midland operate an hourly daytime service from the station to London Euston and Crewe. This service is reduced to five trains per day on Sundays. The station is also served by a half hourly Monday to Saturday daytime service (with some 60 minute gaps between trains on weekday afternoons) and an hourly evening and Sunday service to Walsall and Birmingham on the Chase Line.
