Most of his artistic development has been the result of self-directed study of art books, magazines, websites and various workshops. He never had any formal art training. His work has been greatly influenced by Medieval and Renaissance artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Modern Surrealists such as Salvador Dali. Patric`s work reveals contradiction, from very fluid charcoal shading techniques to textural sketching with graphite. He creates characters who tell stories and he tries to give these artifacts a sense of purpose as well as a renewed sense of belonging.
