The Russian-Canadian Theatrical Community Centre, also known as the Russian Youth Theatre is the first and only stationary Russian theatre in North America. Founded in 1999 and directed by Nikolay Cherkasov, the theatre promotes stage arts within the Russian Community of Toronto and beyond, with a number of broad-range productions for all ages. The Russian Youth Theatre`s creative team includes General Director Nikolay Cherkasov, General Manager Alla Kartuzova, Music Director Andrey Kartuzov, Choreographer Ekaterina Kornienkova, Costume Designer Ekaterina Maryevych, and Artistic Director Valentina Suetova.
