High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Sadik Kaceli (1912–2000) was an Albanian painter. He studied in Paris as a student of Henri Matisse. After that he studied on Academie des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France (1936-1941). Kaceli was one of Albania's best known painters. He was awarded with the People's Artist of Albania and the Honour Citizen of Tirana prices. He also created the first serie of the Albanian lek.The Kaceli family is one of the oldest and best known family of Tirana. When the independence was signed for Albania three uncles of Sadik Kaceli signed it.
