Salatut elamat ("Concealed Lives") is a Finnish 20-minute long soap opera broadcast on MTV3. It was the first – and still the only – Finnish daily soap opera. Its first episode aired on January 25, 1999. On August 17, 2009, it was announced that Salatut elamat will be on the air until the spring 2015.
