Sakhr Computers( ), developed by Kuwaiti company ,Al Alamyyeh produced an Arabic-language version of MSX computers in the 1980s. Their products included the MSX2, MSX2+ and the Yamaha AX100 models, the latter known as Sakhr MSX AX170. The company was also the first to convert the BASIC computer language to Arabic. MSX was the name of a standardized home computer architecture in the 1980s conceived by Kazuhiko Nishi, then Vice-president at Microsoft Japan and Director at ASCII Corporation.
