Salvatore Tavano (born 13 March 1980 in Siracusa) is an Italian auto racing driver.After starting his racing career in karting, Tavano spent two years in the Italian Formula Three Championship. He finished fourth in 1998 and third in 1999. In 2001 he competed in the European Formula 3000 Championship. He was the Italian Super Production Champion in 2003. In 2005 he managed to finish third in the Italian Superturismo Championship. From 2002 he spent three years driving in the European Touring Car Championship.
