High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Samsung SGH-X820 marketed as the world's slimmest mobile phone created by Samsung as a competitor to the Motorola SLVR L7. It was announced in Q3 2006. It has an in-built 2 megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth v1.2, 2-inch 262K color LCD screen with 220x176 resolution in landscape screen layout instead of the usual portrait screen layout of other phones. One of the major complaints was the fact that this phone does not have memory expansion slot. It has 80MB of in-built memory. After release, the world's slimmest mobile phone record has since been surpassed by the Ultra Edition 5.9mm[citation needed]. Samsung later created slimmer phone called the Samsung U108.
