A German National, apparently in South Africa on business, has been found dead in his rented apartment, with all possible escape roots firmly locked from the inside. And as if catching this Houdini-esque killer didn`t pose enough of a problem, the dead man`s identity is anything but certain. Add to this the apparent suicide by poison of another German on a flight to Europe, and you have the beginnings of a tale of stolen identity, espionage and betrayal dating back to the Second World War and spanning two continents..
