They formed roughly in 2004. Details are sketchy as to when and where but it is believed the band performed first in late 2004. According to the NME they were influenced by US noise band Sonic Youth and UK satirist Chris Morris. Their site lists other influences such as Dinosaur Jr. and My Bloody Valentine. In the time that they were together, the band supported (or were supported by) The Kills, Forward Russia, The Young Knives, Neil's Children, The Long Blondes and the Nine Black Alps as well as many others
