High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Soare is a scout music festival done once a year in April in Banska Bystrica, Slovak Republic. This festival is the only of its kind in the Slovak Republic and Czech Republic. Its aim is to introduce and log the songs played at scout events and which are popular to the youth nowadays—not only folk and country, but also rock-styled songs and other music styles. Soare offers the possibility for beginner-musicians to present themselves in public and offers a place for musical activities development in scouting, motivates many musicians and authors. Soare propagates strongly a life without alcohol, drug dependencies or aggression.
