Long ago the evil Hugo Baskerville was killed on the lonely moor near Baskerville Hall. His murderer was not a person but a gigantic dog which breathed fire. Since then many of the Baskerville family have died suddenly or mysteriously, and the people living near the Hall still fear the devil-like hound.
