High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Sofia och Anna (Sofia and Anna) were a Swedish duo composed of Sofia Jannok and Anna Karrstedt, both from Gallivare, Sweden, who sang in Northern Sami. Their group participated in the talent show Juniorchansen on Sweden's TV3. In 1995, they sang in the final of the Italian Bravo Bravissimo. In 2001, they won first prize in the Sami Grand Prix with the song Meahci manna. Gallivare is a locality and the seat of Gallivare Municipality in Norrbotten County, Sweden with 8,480 inhabitants in 2005. The town was founded in the 17th century. Together with nearby towns Malmberget and Koskullskulle it forms a conurbation with some 15,000 inhabitants.
