Soheil Nasseri is an Iranian-American recital pianist based in New York and Berlin. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and Philharmonie Berlin, among other venues. He has premiered over twenty-one works by contemporary composers since 2001. Also notably, he performed the world premiere of Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji's Sonata No. 0 at Carnegie Hall in 2002, as well as created the first recordings of it. In the past seven years, he has performed twenty-eight of Beethoven's thirty-two piano sonatas at various major venues to fulfill his pledge to perform all of Beethoven's piano works (including chamber music and lieder) before his 250th birthday in 2020.
