"Someone Like Me" is a pop ballad written by Ciaron Bell and Liz McClarnon, produced by Bell for Atomic Kitten's third album Ladies Night (2003). The song peaked on the UK chart at number eight. The single was released in Taiwan on the 5th June 2004, It topped the charts for four weeks. This was the last single to be released when the band announced their split (which turns out to be their hiatus) but did release three more singles afterwards in 2005, 2006, and 2008. The songs being "Cradle", "All Together Now (Strong Together)" and "Anyone Who Had a Heart". A slight altercation was made to the single for radio release. On the "album version" of the song Liz sang the opening and second verse of the song. For the "radio edit" Liz's vocals were removed from the second verse and Jenny's were added. A similar change was made in their single "The Last Goodbye" with Natasha's vocals being removed and replaced with Jenny's.
