It was released in October 1975, following the minor success of their previous album. Unlike Spirit Of '76, however, it would not make the national charts. Though some of the album's tracks were from the same sessions that produced Spirit Of '76, it also features several Randy California solo demos which have been augmented by a rhythm machine. The juxtaposition gives the album an odd feeling that keeps it from sounding too close to its predecessor. Though isn't a well-regarded album amongst many fans, it does feature some of Randy's best songs (including two that were originally recorded for Potato Land), though some people like it because of its earnest nature.
