It combines the Big Ship Mini LP, There's Too Many Irons In The Fire 12" and the B side of the Susannah's Still Alive 12", and also includes a bonus song, Everything is Easy. This track was a live favourite way before Cardiacs decided to put it on vinyl. Some of the quiet talking on the Big Ship 12" has been edited/lowered for some reason. As of March 2007, it was out of print. Cardiacs are an English Alternative Rock and Psychedelic Pop band formed in 1977. The band's broad combination of styles is sometimes referred to as Pronk (progressive punk), although group leader Tim Smith prefers the description "Psychedelic" or simply "Pop". Their music is underpinned by Smith's unique singing and songwriting styles, and his poetically cryptic, philosophical and abstract lyrics. Fans and critics have described Cardiacs' sound as complex, varied, intense and entirely unique, with the music magazine Organ commenting that "one Cardiacs song contains more ideas than most other musicians' entire careers".
