It was released on Diablo Records as a side project while Eitzel was performing with American Music Club. The album was recorded live at The Borderline in London, United Kingdom on January 17, 1991, featuring only Mark Eitzel and an acoustic guitar. Mark Eitzel (born Walnut Creek, California) is a musician, best known as a songwriter and lead singer of the San Francisco band American Music Club. Eitzel spent his formative years in a military family living in Okinawa, Taiwan, Ohio and the United Kingdom. He moved to America in 1979.
