Sonia Ferrer was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. She is a Catalan presenter on Television Espanola (TVE) and is the only child of parents Victoria Gonzalez and Josep Ferrer. Ferrer is a model and actress. She once did a part in a mini series of 13 chapters that rolled for the TVE-Catalunya, Happy House. In addition she presented for Via Digitalis in the Cosmopolitan Channel, the program Cosmopolitan Coffee and from 2000 to 2008 the program she presents next to Maria Jose Molina Gente of TVE-1. In May 2006 and 2007, the TVE chose Sonia to be the main presenter and give the results of the Spanish voting in the Eurovision Song Contest.
