From 1974 to 1978 she was a dancer in the Ballet of the Opera in Vienna (Wiener Oper) . She became popular to the European public as Coco, a sensuous but dangerous seductress in the 1988 German blockbuster Die Venusfalle / The Venus Trap. Till now she was to be seen in about 40 movies, some Italian and French productions, but mostly in German TV/cinema. Sonja Kirchberger is mother of a girl and a boy. The Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper) is an opera house – and opera company – with a history dating back to the mid-19th century. It is located in the centre of Vienna, Austria. It was originally called the Vienna Court Opera (Wiener Hofoper); in 1920, it was renamed the Vienna State Opera. The members of the Vienna Philharmonic are recruited from its orchestra.
