This character is the daughter of the vampire elder Viktor, introduced by flashback, in Underworld. She was first portrayed by Jazmin Dammak in a flashback sequences from the first Underworld and later by actresses Rhona Mitra and Olivia Taylforth (as a teen) on Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Sonja was the daughter of the powerful vampire elder, Viktor. She was a member of the Vampire Council and slated to become an Elder herself. However, she fell in love with the Lycan slave, Lucian, despite the fact that she knew it was forbidden for vampires to consort with Lycans. Around the time Sonja became pregnant with their child, Lucian started a Lycan slave revolt and Sonja, sympathetic to the slaves and her lover, sided with the Lycans. Viktor found out about his daughter's love for Lucian and her pregnancy.
