High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Sonus Juventus choir (Latin, "the sound of the youth") is the choir of the University of Baguio Science High School. The group was started in 1992 as a venue for artistic expression in the field of music for the students of the school. It is Baguio City's longest existing high school choir with an average membership of 25 singers per school year. The Sonus Juventus has won awards in choral and music competitions. They have performed concerts in Baguio and provinces. The choir also regularly perform and competes in international choral competitions and festivals, having qualified for the ‘Isola Del Sole' International Choir Competition in Italy, and the Budapest International Choir Competitions in Hungary, both in 2002. The Sonus Juventus also has the distinction of being the last high school champions of the defunct Saniweng Christmas Choral Competitions and the first high school Champions of the 2005 Camp John Hay Chorale Competition.
