She started starring in Korean TV Series in 2002 with her first lead role in Love Letter. Her next notable performance was as Lady Jung-Hwa in Emperor of the Sea 2005 drama where she was one of the four leads. Her performance earned her the award for Excellence in Acting and Best Couple with the fellow actor, Song Il Gook.
