She made her first on-screen appearance on 18 May 2009. The character was created as part of a new generation of the Ramsay family. Sophie is the youngest of the Ramsay siblings, which also include brother and sister Harry and Kate. Jones began filming her first scenes with Neighbours in February 2009. In November 2012, it was announced that Jones would be leaving Neighbours in 2013.
