Sri Anna Subramanian, known as “Anna” to his friends and disciples, was a spiritual leader in the community and a prolific writer authoring more than 100 spiritual and religious books. He got his education at an orphanage school run by Rama Krishna Mission in Chennai at a young age. He then devoted his entire life serving the orphan school, first as a teacher, then as its principal, and later as its administrator until his death at the age of 97.
