Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. St Barbara's Church, Haceby, is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Haceby, Lincolnshire, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church is situated some 8 miles (12.9 km) to the east of Grantham, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of the A52 road. It has a double dedication to Saint Barbara and Saint Margaret. The church dates from the 12th century, with additions and alterations in each of the following four centuries. A partial restoration took place in 1890, and a further restoration in 1924. The village of Haceby is mentioned in the Domesday Book, and was once a thriving community, but it has shrunk in size and now consists of a few cottages, a farm and the church. The church was declared redundant in October 1973. It is now used once a year for a Harvest festival service.
